The Boulder Valley Rose Society was formed in February 1961.  Our meetings are held from February to November each year in Boulder, Colorado.  Non-members are welcome to visit any of our meetings.  Our primary objective is to provide information about rose growing to our members and the public.

We vote each year on what programs and activities we want to have.

Activities might be:

Visit a rose garden
Have a speaker talk on a rose related topic
Rose culture, planting, fertilizing, watering, pruning, insects & diseases
Have a rose show or go to a rose show
How to show roses
How to select rose varieties for our area
Annual plant sale fundraiser
Floral Design
Rose propagation
Potlucks and garden tours at members homes
Installation banquet (honoring retiring and installing new officers)

The society maintains the rose garden located at The Boulder-Dushanbe Tea House on 13th Street downtown Boulder.
